Before and after school enrichment (BASE) is available for every school age child aged 6-12. The center opens at 6:30 and breakfast is served at 7:30 am if the school cafeteria is not serving breakfast. By 7:45 the children are released to the morning recess teacher at the Norwood Public School. Once school lets out at 3:10, Deon Tempfur is here to enrich, enliven and explore with the kids until 5:30. Please sign your child up for each day you think they will be attending after school activities. Rates are $15 per day.
Deon has also scheduled field trips or special activities for days the public school is not in session. Check out her field trips each month. Field trip days are also $15 and each child must bring their own lunch.
Children will come to the center at the end of the day and sign themselves into the computer. Deon will be here waiting for those who are signed up. Parents, please pick up children promptly at 5:15. Please provide your child with water and a healthy snack each day.
BASE is $15 per day and must be pre-paid. If your calendar is not accompanied by payment, your child will not be enrolled in BASE.
BASE must have a minimum enrollment of 6 children, and is subject to cancellation due to low enrollment.
We are currently exploring the possibility of providing after-club care, based on the needs of enrolled families. If you need extended care after clubs, please indicate days and times below.
